Settings>Change in-game function settings>Dramatic Camera>None

     This turns off the close up you get when firing your ship cannons. You have a lot

     more control and will find it easier to battle when this is set to None.

 

Settings>Change in-game function settings>Show Production Log>No

     This will stop a lot of the production spam in your chat box. Great successes and

     increased profiency gains will still show up.

 

Settings>Change in-game display settings>Battle Spectators>Show/hide

     Set to show, this will show any ships that are near you while in battle. Useful to set

     to show when in areas with player pirates to see if one is just waiting for you to finish

     battle to attack you. Can be set to hide while grinding in safe areas.

 

Community>Set Status>Allow Mock Battles

     This should be unchecked at all times unless you are purposely wanting to engage in

     mock battles. Otherwise you can be attacked at any time. Although your win/loss won't

     be counted against your fame, the damage done to your ship is real and will cost you

     Mcts for repair just like as with any real battle.

 

Community>Allow Visit

     When checked, this will allow company members and fleet members to visit your

     quarters when you are in the vicinity. It is safe to leave this checked as visitors can

     do nothing but look.
